Each drawer has 8 reinforced nylon bearings which are watertight and reinforced, noiseless and self-lubricated with a certificate of guarantee bearing up to 40kg.
Exclusive system of aluminum telescopic rails.
Regular drawers: Dimensions: Height 1,25m; width 0,51m; depth 0,96m. Three telescopic compartments with 30 Plexiglas separators. The whole drawer is made of aluminum, including front and back surfaces. The back is made of hard wood laminate.
Removable drawers: Dimensions: 0.96 in depth and 0.58 m in width; 4 acrylic trays 0.24 m wide, adjustable height, with 8 acrylic dividers. The structure is made of steel and can hold up to 80kg when fully extended.
The double drawers are double height (0.25m.) Two compartments, with 8 Plexiglas dividers per compartment.
The drawer is made of aluminum, including both front and rear surfaces. Drawer bottoms are made of hardwearing wood laminate. When the double height drawers are located at the top section of the column, the bottoms are transparent so that the products can be seen from below.
Drawer front surfaces are made of PVC coated MDF wood with post-formed borders to prevent getting caught on clothing.
For additional impact resistance and to enable better cleaning, drawer edges are coated with PVC sheets.
The base border is made of laminated phenolic wood to prevent damage caused by humidity from the ground.
The column of drawers is accompanied by a set of two MDF wood closing sides of 1.01m in depth and 2.20m.
THE CONCEPT OF DRAWER COLUMNS
Every column of drawers stores an average of 2,000 units according to our 10 years of experience. Within each drawer, compartments must be separated using acrylic dividers. However not all presentations have enough stock to fully occupy drawer space. Therefore, storage space is smaller. If all products where categorized in alphabetical order or by the laboratory’s name, placed next to each other without dividers, each column of drawers could easily store up to 3000 units. However this is not the most convenient categorization system since it increases the risk of errors when selecting a product. As an example, if a pharmacy must store 6,000 products, it will need 3 columns of drawers. Each pedestal measures 0.60m in width, 1.00 m in depth and 2.2 m in height. The last tray of the vertical drawer of the 10N + 2E or Everest model is at approximately 1.8 m from the ground.
This model has vertical drawers to store jars and large boxes. It may be accessed from both sides; therefore height is not an issue. Horizontal or regular drawers are used to store products under 0.10 m in height. Tray position is adjustable. Products stored in regular drawers are generally categorized alphabetically or by laboratory name and alphabetically; products stored in vertical drawers are categorized in alphabetical order. The space occupied by three units is 1.84 wide, including closing sides measuring 1.00 m in depth by 2.20 m in height. Drawers slide out one extra meter at their maximum extension. They may also be placed facing each other, two on one wall and two across the first couple.
