CONVENIENCE STORES / SERVICE STATIONS

In many cases convenience stores belong to a chain of businesses spread out throughout a city or town; the term convenience store is also used to define a small sized mini-market within a service station. In both cases, this type of shop meets the definition of “a place at arm’s length for the customer.”

Generally, when we develop the aesthetics of the shop, we take into account both the inside and the outside setting: the store must call the customer's attention from a distance. The building's façade is designed to create a unique and recognizable identity.

A very high percentage of the purchases made in convenience stores are impulse purchases. It is therefore important to present products in a clear manner and to ensure good signage to promote an agile purchasing process.

We take into account these specific factors, adapting our fixtures and fittings to the philosophy of this type of business where the wide range of products and the short time available for purchasing are the key elements.
